Dr. Rachel Koch, Assistant Professor of Surgery and Acute Care Surgeon at University of California, San Francisco has been awarded the 2026 AAST Research & Education Fund Scholarship from the The American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST).
The competitive award provides support for emerging surgeon-scientists whose research has the potential to advance the field of trauma and acute care surgery.
