Sanziana Roman, MD, FACS, has served as the Chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and the American Thyroid Associations since 2022. She moderated the inaugural Health Equity Session at the annual meeting of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons in Birmingham, AL, 2023, and will moderate the main diversity session at the centennial meeting of the American Thyroid Association in Washington DC, 2023.
